Multiple-choice questions

It’s been a while.

Question: Why do I feel dumber and dumber every day? Is Facebook sucking my intellect from me?

Question #2: Why can I never remember what I wanted to blog about?

Question #3: How in the world did I forget my purse when I left?

Feel free to answer any or all of the questions, as you please.

Answer: No, Facebook is merely polluting your mind with many things, causing you to lose touch with your intellect.

Answer #2: Facebook. It causes you to think about it even when not using it, taking up active memory in your brain, causing you to forget things more easily.

Answer #3: See above answer.

These are in no way scientifically backed, but it is my theory. Or at least my answers, whether or not I believe them entirely...

John, you are absurd. :D

*shrug* Since getting off Facebook, I'm more focused, my memory is better, and life in general is just more enjoyable. My answers were actually at least half serious...

Hey! Since getting off Facebook over a year ago, I haven't had any computer viruses! But I also can't "go house to house" anymore, either--which is a good thing!

I tried to reply to this a long time ago, but Blogger was acting up at the time... so I'm back...

John: Interesting that forswearing Facebook has helped so much. Do you text, though? I would find it difficult to keep in touch with several folks without FB because I do not have texting. One can argue that e-mail would work fine but I know some friends who don't check their e-mail.

Carol: What do you mean by going "house to house"? Yeah, viruses can be a big problem, but I don't think I've had any viruses on my compy from Facebook. Then again I use an alternative Internet browser and have several add-ons, plus my antivirus, to prevent that.

Well, I just don't have friends to keep in touch with... ;) Kidding...but even now that I've been using Facebook again for a few weeks, it hasn't been that much use...it's more annoying than anything, because I realize now how little it helps me... I do text (yay, Mom, for wanting us to get unlimited texting so she could learn how to text?), but it's mostly people that either I see every day, or who I never keep in touch with through Facebook anyway... Email is mostly just a fail when trying to get ahold of people quickly, ha...
